Pet care experience
Hey there! I'm Kara, i'm 18 and I adore all animals!! I'm currently a freshman in college studying animal behavior. I've been around cats my whole life and I have had a family dog for about 4 years, and my own for around 6 months. In addition I take care of horses and other barn animals on a weekly basis. This helps me in the sense that I am never scared of size with a dog. I also have about a year of experience in a pet boarding and daycare facility that I worked at! I am currently a senior in high school, but we get out around 2. My availability on weekdays is pretty much anytime after I get home! My weekends are very open and I can easily fit in time with any animals! Following owner's preference I will always make sure your pets are comfortable and stay safe! I'm able to administer medicine, feed them, take them out, or spend extra time making sure they trust me!

Kara walked our Finny for 10 days. Finny enjoyed the walks and loved when she came. She was flexible if we needed to change times for the walk and was very accommodating.
Our cat immediately warmed up to Kara, which put me at ease! Kara was great about sending photos of our pet and giving her some playtime when she visited.

I know every dog has their specific triggers and reactivity so if there is anything unusual or specific that I should watch out for that would be great to know! As well as if there are any allergies or sensitivities to food, plants, treats, etc.
A typical day
I'll do whatever your furry friends like! I'd love to play tug of war or fetch, but I would be just as happy to sit and cuddle!
