I have owned a dog since I was in 6th grade, and I couldn’t imagine my life without one, or four! I started pet/house sitting in high-school as a side job, and continued through college. I love to exercise, and am fit to do so on any terrain. I love to play, wether that be inside or out, or just give some belly rubs. As an adult, I have rescued two dogs, both which developed medical challenges. I have worked through hip dysplagia surgery (FHO), ACL surgery (TPLO), rehab, medication administration, and adapted mobility needs for post-surgical and elderly dogs. I am a responsible, dependable person with a huge heart for dogs! I would love to be able to help meet the needs of your furry family member!

Kara is a life long dog and pet lover! She showers her fur-children with lots of love and is very responsible when it comes to her pets. She has had big dogs most of her life with varying levels of activity, and can handle the most excited and goofiest of dogs. Her current dog is a rescue and was very timid and untrusting at first, but with the love that Kara showed it, he is far more relaxed and a great family dog. He still has some lingering anxiety around strangers, but it has never been a problem because Kara handles it like a pro! So I'm certain that she knows how to handle dogs with different behaviors, attitudes, and demeanors. I would trust Kara with my dog any time!
