Hi there, my name is Kara! I just graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Applied Biotechnology (GO DAWGS!). My next goal is getting into veterinary school and I am currently working on my applications. I am currently working at UGA’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. I have worked at a veterinary clinic in Athens as a veterinary assistant for the past three years. I also have volunteered for UGA’s deer research facility and Athens Humane Society. I have spent most of my college career gaining experience working with small, large, and wildlife animals!

A typical day
Depending on your location, we can go for a walk and even play fetch. Depending on what your dogs are into whether it's going to a dog park, going for a ride, swimming, or even just taking a nap. I can try my best to make it happen!

Availability
I work full time from 8:30am-5pm M-F at the University of Georgia’s Veterinary teaching hospital. Unfortunately I will not be available for noon drop ins because my lunch break varies day to day.
