My name is Kara, I am 23 years old and I live in East London. I grew up an only child, so I begged my parents for pets and all I ever got was goldfish, much to my disappointment. One day something changed and my next door neighbours cat had babies, so my mum fell under the spell of cute kittens and I finally had the companion I always wanted. We moved from a house to a flat and because our cats were outdoor, we gave them to another loving home and two years into living in our new place, we got a chihuahua named Binky. She is a lover of cheese, long walks and only one flavour of dog food, Turkey & Chicken Casserole by Lilly’s Kitchen (which I had to find after 100s of searching and a lot of lost money). She is my best friend, I would do anything for her, I even ran in front of a van for her because she sillily ran into the road once. What I love the most about dogs is their own individual personalities, they communicate with us so well without any sort of language understanding and they can be so funny too, in their own little ways. I have such a love and respect for animals, so much so that I want more of them in my life lol.
