Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life. I’ve had all different breeds, from a chihuahua to a cane corso. I love all dogs and have a lot of availability as I can work from home as needed. I have a 5 month old chihuahua puppy named Posie! She’s a sweetie and loves other dogs.

Looking for a loving, responsible pet caregiver? Look no further, this is the girl. Kara grew up with many animals, including dogs, cats, ginea pigs, rats, fish and a rabbit. She is experienced and will provide excellent care. Your pet will be lavished with comforting compassion and an exceptionally clean environment. Kara has taken care of my dogs many times. They love her and she loves them. Give her a chance, you won't be disappointed.
Kara watches my German Shepard, Hank, every time I go out of town. He's still pretty young and she does an awesome job of getting his energy out, usually by walks or fetch in my backyard. I try to keep him on a relatively strict feeding schedule and she has always followed that as well. I was lucky enough to have found her as a dog sitter before Rover- I 100% recommend her for any dog owner that wants someone who actually cares about their pet.

I make sure to treat all pets with the love and care as if they are my own. I also make sure to abide by any guidelines set by owners, as I think it is very important to stick to a pet’s established routine. I love to exercise, so I am more than willing to take dogs on long walks if required, or just hang out and give them the attention they deserve.

The temperament of the dog is very important. If it is socialized or has any history or aggressive behavior. If there are any specific schedules the dog is used to in terms of feeding, exercise, rest, etc. It’s also important to know what I can do to make the dog most comfortable, as meeting new people can be hard for some pets.
A typical day
I personally love talking walks around centennial park- I go almost daily. I would love to take the dog on walks there, or even a trail, if the dog doesn’t do as well with people or other dogs. I run almost daily, so if the dog needs to run, I can do that as well. If there is a fenced in enclosure available, I would love to play fetch to tire the dog out a bit. If your dog isn’t as energetic, I am more than happy to lay on the couch and give him or her some belly rubs.

I work 8 am-5pm Monday-Friday. I work from home pretty much every day. This allows me to essentially have 24/7 availability. I am always available weekends and have a car so I can travel as needed!
