I Will Treat Your Dog Like My Own
Pet care experience
Hello! As many of you can probably relate, I have always had a dog (or several) around as young as I remember. When I turned 14, I began training service dog puppies for Pilot Dogs Inc. in Columbus, OH as a volunteer. In total I have worked with seven puppies for the blind, on and off while attending High School and College. I have received training in a dog-based 4-H club as well as attended countless puppy classes over past several years. I have research experience in the UC FETCH Lab testing puppies' hearing. Not to brag, but many of my friends often ask me for help with training dogs because of my experience. I am currently in Graduate School for Speech-Language Pathology and dream of working with children. By sharing my love of dogs with you, I can fund my education.

Kara was SO awesome with our furry brood. She took our pup on walks, played with her, and loved on her. She also took great care of our two cats. Kara went above and beyond and brought in our mail, brought in our garbage cans, and even deep cleaned the spaces she used before we got home. I would recommend Kara for any pet and or house sitting needs!

Kara is an absolute natural when it comes to working with dogs. She has trained multiple service dogs, and she takes that same care and diligence with each dog she interacts with. She treats every dog with respect and love, and is calm while being firm. Overall, Kara is responsible, capable, and thorough.
You can be sure that your pet will be cared for as if it was her own. Kara has raised small animals and many breeds of dogs. She is a gentle, kind and caring pet owner. Her knowledge of dogs and skills as a trainer are a great reason to trust her to care for yours. Always cheerful and ready to meet a new dog!

What does your dog do when they are afraid? I love all dogs, although most of my experience has been with medium-large sized dogs (i.e., beagles, golden retrievers, labs, boxers, Dobermans).
A typical day
We will go on walks at local parks and around the neighborhood while playing fetch, enjoy butt-scratching, learning commands, and showing off how smart we (really he/she) are.
