Pet care experience
I have had dogs for several years and currently volunteer with Austin Pets Alive! (remotely now that I’m located in CO). I work from home 100% of the time, so I am here all day to care for your pups! I also have three dogs: -Stavros Adonis, a 4 year old pit mix with a heart of gold who is afraid of everything. - Jackie Daytona, a 1.5 year old chi who wants to be the center of attention always. - Chad, a 4 month old lgx who is a service dog in training. All this is to say I am extremely patient and attentive to our dogs’ needs and will be with yours as well! I work from home full time with a very flexible schedule that allows me to care for pets! Weekends I’m at home most of the time as well. There are plenty of walking trails nearby to ensure your pups get the needed exercise. I have plenty of toys and beds and blankets to ensure your dogs feel right at home.

Kara is hands down the best. She’s been loving our fur babies from just our sweet pup, Mochi to drop ins to check on our cat, Chewie, and then our new addition, Boba. Mochi is picky about everything (people, food, cuddles) and seeing her wiggle her little butt when she sees Kara is beyond comforting. She’s been in our lives for almost two years and wanna keep her forever!
Kara was great with my pups! Very responsive and took great care of them. They both came back exhausted. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again :)
Our pups hung out at their place while we had some work done in our house, and they were great! We got many updates and photos, Kara was respectful and asked permission about giving treats and letting them on furniture, and the pups were happy! We will definitely be rebooking :)
Kara is our go-to for pet sitting! She is so good with animals, and always cares for our pups like they are her own. She goes above and beyond and we are so lucky to have found her. I can’t recommend her enough!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. Must be okay with other dogs. I have a 3 year old pittie and a 1 year old chihuahua puppy. We’re also about to get a 3rd pup who we’re raising to become a service dog.
A typical day
I have some puzzle toys as well as toys for heavy chewers. I have plenty of dog beds and blankets for a snooze. I also have a fenced in yard for fetch, or we can go for a short or long walk on a nearby trail!

I work from home and have a flexible schedule. With three dogs of my own I understand the necessity to have plenty of walks, play time, and solo crate time if applicable.
