Pet care experience
I am currently a stay-at-home cat mom looking to give a helping hand to dog parents in need! We all know the dreaded feeling when a family member or friend isn’t able to take care of Fido for you and that’s where I’d like to help. Are you a new puppy parent and would love to have someone check in during the day? I can help! I’d love to pamper your pooch for the day (or overnight stay)! In my home are just myself and my significant other (no children). My career background is 6 years within retail management and I am currently taking classes in pet nutrition and veterinary assistance, to help better care for your pet! My significant other is a career CMM programmer for a local production plant. We have a 2yr old cat named Simba and a rescue kitten named Osiris. Any dogs staying in our home needs to be cat friendly! Our favorite dog breeds are pugs, corgis and huskies! Currently, I can only travel for check-ins within the Holland and Zeeland area, I hope to be able to expand that in the future!.

Seems like things ultimately went ok.
Kara went above and beyond to make sure our dog had a comfortable stay. We want our dog to get used to being around cats and Kara worked extensively with her on this. Will use her again!
I got great pictures and updates from Kara about Beef, and Beef seemed to really enjoy her stay. Kara was very accommodating and responds very quickly to any questions.
Kara has been wonderful taking care of our furry kids, Mya and Max ! She regularly updates us on how they are doing and sends pictures. She also has done some cleaning in the house which has been such a nice extra touch ! Thanks Kara ! ?

A typical day
My apartment building is located in a quiet culda-a-sac. We have lots of grass to play in, but it is not fenced in. I’m not aware of any neighbors that have dogs, so it would be a perfect walk area if your dog has anxiety around other dogs, or doesn’t play well with others. For the more energetic, I have the Van Raalte farm within walking distance. It’s walking trail would far more than suffice to wear anyone out!We feequent the Quincy Dog Park, as long as Fido is dog friendly! On the weekends we like to go to Holland State Park, if the weather allows. We’d take them on a nice walk on the pier. If your dog has any favorite activities make sure to let me know, I’d love to incorporate them into the day! For the end of the day, I have lots of blankets and pillow to snuggle up into. During your dogs stay with me, youll receive a minimun of one picture and update!
