I was born and raised in Alaska. I grew up in a small village called Shungnak, AK and then I moved to Fairbanks, AK for grade school. Where, I was unfortunately put into the foster care system and then I moved to Kotzebue, AK. I got my first dog named Nipitu which means “loud” in my native language. I then went on to wrestle for two years in college at Ferrum College, VA. Besides being a full time student and being on the women’s wrestling team, I did take in my friends dogs a couple of times. I got married to my amazing husband who is in the military, we have fostered many dogs while we were stationed at Fort Wainwright, AK. We now live in Katterbach, Germany until 2023. We do have one dog who is with my sister, hopefully until it’s spring time over there and she will be sent here. I love dogs and will always be a dog person... My husband is allergic to cats so that’s the main reason, ha ha. But besides that we are always happy to foster a dog in need and for our new dog (#2) joining our small family hopefully in the next couple months through the Tanzie Projects here in Europe.
