Being from a cattle ranchers family I have been blessed with the constant companionship of animals. Yet only the canine has held that special part of my heart. It was always the obvious path for me to work with dogs and that is exactly what I have done for the past seven years. I was a lead attendant and kennel manager at two different "doggy daycares" and those years have taught me so much. There are some dogs who thrive in those environments but as with any living soul, not all are the same. I want to be there for your best friend, to make them feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as they do with you. I have worked with many different types of breeds and honestly love each and every one of them. I am very concientious of the fact that every dog has their own personality which is why it is important for me to get to know your friend as well as you do. While Fido may love belly rubs Milo may hate it. Each dog is a unique soul and I want to make a truly personal connection with your best friend. These intensely loving animals deserve our equally intense love and care. I have an active lifestyle which involves many activities. Hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, cycling, snow shoeing, or just a simple walk around the park, it's always better with an encouraging four legged friend by your side. Depending on the season, dog tempermant and personality, breed, age, health, etc. I would love to take your pup along. I have vast knowledge on dog health, behavior, special needs, and medications. My best friend is an Australian shepherd mix named Chewbacca, who has been by my side, to work, to visit family, to play, for the past 6 years and is incredibly good with other dogs. While I would watch your home and family member he could stay home with my live in boyfriend if a new dog in your house would be upsetting for your pup. If you have requested a dog walk we can always discuss whether or not Chewbacca would come along. As I said earlier, I understand every dog is different and not all are social.
