My house is 2,000 square ft and has a decent sized back yard that has a 8ft Privacy fence. They will have plenty of room to play in. If they are the type like my dogs, then they love to have friends to play with! My fur kids are one Grate Dane that is friendly and gentle with any size dog and a Lab Mix that is also very friendly and playful with all dogs. I have a free range option for your pets if you choose to have them not in a kennel, this allows them stay and roam in the house. All pets must be house trained for this option. I do have kennels if a kennel is needed. I like to allow my guest to feel right at home! I have done pet sitting for 8 years now for friends, family and great pet parents. I am insured and have a 24-7 vet on call for any emergencies. I am pet CPR/First aid certified, Certified K-9 Behaviorist. I have cared for the largest of exotics to the largest of dogs, I do not have any restrictions of the pets I sit for. I am very well educated in all pets that come in my care and tailor every pets stay to their individual needs based on the information given to me by you, the pet parent. I have a long list of clients I can provide to you on request. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog/ animal lover. Since I was little, dogs and animals of all sorts have been part of my life. From the smallest of pets to the largest of dogs I have cared for them all. I worked as a vet tech for a year and decided to pick up pet care on my own in the comfort of my own home, while going to school to be a Avian Vet. You no longer have to worry about your pets while you are away! They are in great hands! Meet my pets My home Has three dog friendly cats. They usually are not seen, they like to hide:). I also have a Great Dane and a Lab Mix that are so very sweet and gentle playmates. About my yard Walking trail, fenced yard and splash pad. My experience administering medication Yes, as a certified vet assistant I am very much comfortable. I am also comfortable taking aggressive dogs, as I am a Aggressive dog trainer as well.

Can not say enough good things about Kandace. Super friendly and professional. I never once worried about Ranger. It was nice to get a way and have peace of mind that your fur baby was being taken care of. We have used Kandace twice now and I can not believe I failed to leave a review. Sorry for the delay.
Stop, Stop sending me anymore messages. Ronnie never stayed with Kandace. I waited an hour and no one came out. I knocked on door and want next door to ask if I was at right address and I was. I want to door again and heard voices but no one came to the door. then someone came out and told me to get off there property. This all took place before 9am. At 3pm I received a massage from this Kandace and said she could not wait any longer because she had to take her daughter somewhere. The problems with this sitter started before I even got there, I was told she was in cadlo mills, she doesn't I spoke with two people in your office about this and they said they would call me back they NEVER returned my calls. Please do not use this site for dog care, they do not help at all with problems and they treat you like your nobody when you do have a problem, They send you over and over again to different people and no one even tries to help you. If this is the staff can you imagine the sitters they hire. I am sorry but I can honestly say I will never tell anyone to try this site and I hope those that do please do your resherch'
Maya had a fantastic time at the ranch. She couldn't look happier when I got her back, she had fun playing with the other dogs all week. I would definitely go back.
Wow! I am SO happy to have found Kandace and Safari Ranch Pet Lodge. Tucker will never go anywhere else ever again. This is one seriously dog friendly family, y'all! When we arrived, I knew immediately that Tucker would be in great hands. Their home is absolutely beautiful and sits on 24 acres. Inside, Tucker had his own spacious room with a twin bed and a window to see out. On the bed when we arrived, there was a sign that said "Welcome Tucker" with a couple of treats. So cool! Kandace has literally thought of everything! During Tucker's stay, he was taken for a walk and played with and loved on. What more could you ask for? Kandace was always communicative, super friendly and very responsible. Tucker can be a picky eater and also a bit shy but Kandace handled him beautifully and he came out of his shell pretty quickly with her. I enjoyed hearing from her while we were away and receiving pictures so I could see my boy when I was missing him. When we picked him up, Kandace had everything ready to go and had even washed Tucker's stinky dog blanket! And, tucked into Tucker's items to go home was an envelope with pictures of his stay and notes about things he did while he was there. She is seriously the best ever! Tuck came home happy, exhausted from all of the attention and also a bit sad because I think he missed her and the dogs! This is seriously the BEST place ever. We absolutely loved Kandace and her family! It doesn't get any better than this!!

All I ask before boarding is a copy of vet records with all up to date shots (dogs and cats only) and flea and tick program. If they are not on a Flea and Tick program, I can still allow them to come, you will just be charged an additional one time fee of $12 plus normal bath rate for your dog for a flea/tick bath.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks On walking trail, around ponds and selected days to play at dog park. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I have extra bed room I made just for pets to sleep in, with beds and t.v...... and soon to come video cameras so you can check up on your pet. Time I'll spend with your dog Your dog will be cared for 24-7 while in my care. I stay at home and take classes online. Personal time can be given to your fur kid if needed, But if boarded with others that time will be shared example; I take all guest to doggie park Tuesdays and Thursdays for up to 2 hours of play time. No matter how many guest I have, your fur kids will be in the best of care with lots of attention.
