SIZE RESTRICTIONS: Dogs must be under 60lbs REQUIREMENTS: Dogs must meet all typical vaccine requirements and proof will need to be provided before their stay. (This includes Rabies Vaccinations, Distemper, Parvo, Hepatitis, and Bordetella). Dogs must be on a flea preventative. YOUR DOG's TEMPERMENT: Dogs should be friendly with children, other dogs, preferably cats as well...but they MUST be friendly with other dogs. Please let me know if you are unsure if your dog has a friendly temperament with children or cats... I already have my home set up so that my child has a dog free safe area to play in. If your dog does not do well with cats, this is ok...my cat has the upstairs she can retreat to that will be off limits for dogs that are not cat friendly. In any circumstance, my home is open concept enough that I am ALWAYS within view and monitoring all. CATS: If my calendar appears booked for boarding please inquire. I can host only 1 dog at a time. However, I can host a cat in addition to this. Cats are given their own private space upstairs in guest room. First time pets: I understand that our dogs will be meeting for the first time, and that during COVID-19 it is not possible to do a typical meet and greet. I can slowly introduce your dog to my dog and if there are any differences in personality they can be separated during stay if need be. However, my dog has enjoyed every dog she has interacted with thus far so she is really looking forward to making new friends :)

Winter: Dogs can enjoy romping in the snow in fenced backyard together. Indoors there are lots of shareable dog toys and my Aussie loves to play. Walks are possible but not guaranteed due to Weather restraints, in lieu of walks your pup will be able to enjoy scheduled active play with myself with toys in the snow and indoors (ball tossing, tug of war, etc.) Dog will always have access to my Aussie to play anytime they are both interested. COVID-19: Please wear a mask to drop off and pick up your pet. I have a front porch area for transfer of pet. Virtual home tours are available. I'll conduct responsible pet introduction myself during the pandemic. Pets can meet through a barrier, then slowly introduced. Safe Boarding and Daycare options are still available for dogs that do not end up getting along with my dog, and will be implemented if necessary. Please free feel to inquire if you have preferences for safe drop off and pick up during COVID19. Due to Covid-19 I am currently only hosting 1 dog at a time. All shared areas/supplies and boarding crate are thoroughly disinfected in between dogs. Summer: Dogs can enjoy romping in fenced backyard together. Indoors there are lots of shareable dog toys and my Aussie loves to play. A daily walk is likely, unless owner requests to opt out. Summer activities can be arranged as well (sprinkler, plastic puppy pool time, etc.) Feeding: For safety Dogs will be fed in separate rooms. I can feed up to 3x a day. If you prefer a special diet and/or that I do not feed a certain food type and/or treats please let me know in advance otherwise your pet may get dog treats (currently they are BarkBox treats). Please prepare your own dog food. In a run out emergency I have Diamond Dog Food kibble available but please pack more food than you think you will need just in case. (so that your dog does not have digestive issues adjusting to new food). Medications: We can discuss the administration of oral medications if they are needed. This needs to be discussed before booking is confirmed so that your pets medications needs are ensured to be in capable hands. Special Needs Dogs: We can discuss your dog's special needs, please inquire. I will text photos/video of your dog at least once daily during their time here at my home and of their accommodations. I'm happy to send more photos anytime.
