Pet care experience
Hey! We are Kamal and Lulu, and we have would love to look after your dog 😁 Rather than settle down with a dog of our own, Lulu and I love meeting new furry friends by being dog sitters, discovering each dog’s unique personality. I am a recent graduate, and have just started full time employment, and work from home 1-2 days per week. Lulu works from home, and goes into the office 1 day per week. You are almost always guaranteed to have at least one of us home with your dog. We would love to spend time taking care of your pup and giving them a wonderful experience in our home. We both lead a highly active lifestyle and love exercising. We’ve had experience with a wide variety of dog breeds and are yet to find one we don’t love and get along with really well!

Lulu and Kamal were angels sent to us in a moment of uncertainty (a friend of mine who was supposed to care for my dog had a change in plans). Honestly, we are so so happy to have found such cute caring people to watch for our furr baby, we were worried but now absolutely happy we found them . They took care of him for 12 days, provided daily updates with photos and videos and you could tell Tito was having a great time. When we were leaving after picking him up, he stood there watching Lulu go and he started crying and “calling her”. He will definitely miss both of them, but we will definitely use them again and travel worry free. Thank you guys!!!!! Tito and us are very grateful.
Kamal and Lulu were such life savers when we were frantically looking for a last minute sitter for our two pups. They were incredibly sweet and came over to meet the dogs before and learn about their routine. They sent daily pictures and updates and were very quick in responding to any texts. The dogs, who can be anxious while we are gone, looked relaxed and joyful in each pic they sent. We have one dog in particular who is anxious and can be very fussy (not eat or potty when we are away) and he did exceptionally well with Kamal and Lulu. The dogs were happy and content when we arrived home and they had cleaned and washed the towels and sheets ?? We are beyond grateful for these two lovely humans ????
As a first time user on Rover, I was very nervous to find a sitter for my reactive dog. When I contacted Kamal and Lulu, they were both very understanding to my dog’s situation and were still willing to meet her. The meet and greet went well and I proceeded to book my dog’s stay with them. They kept me updated throughout the whole weekend and when I picked up my dog, she was in a way better state of mind compared to when I’ve boarded her at kennels in the past. I am so grateful I took the leap of faith with Kamal and Lulu and that they took good care of my dog. I will not hesitate to use them as a sitter again in the future!
Kamal and Lulu took great care of Tito during his first night with them. You can tell my dog likes them because when Lulu was leaving he was looking for her.. aww Happy we found them.

You may notice in reviews that the majority of our pet stays were in our own home. Unfortunately, we have recently moved house and our new living situation does not allow us to look after dogs in our home. We are now exclusively doing home stays, and are happy to come to you! We find this keeps pets most happy anyway, and involves the least amount of disruption to their routine. Plus, no need to pack up food, bed, toys, etc.!

We are experienced and comfortable with basically all breeds at this point, but things including toilet schedule, feeding schedule, allergies and dietary restrictions, problematic areas (I.e. unfriendly on a leash, likes to chew shoes, etc), and ability to be off leash are very useful to know ahead of time :)
A typical day
We love taking our furry visitors for nature walks and to the park if they need to unleash their energy. We also enjoy bring our visitors to the beach, out for dinner, to the farmers market - as much as they want to do with us, we will bring them along! Of course, some dogs prefer to hang out at home, and we love a good cuddle on the couch. Honestly, whatever makes your dog happiest and most comfortable - we always take guidance from what they tell us they would like to do.

Availability
You are almost guaranteed that one or both of us will be at home with your dog at all times. We work out in the morning and take regular breaks throughout the day. When we have a furry friend with us, this means a long morning walk/play, and three shorter walks throughout the day (less if your pup is elderly or prefers not to walk). On the weekend we love exploring dog-friendly areas and going on hikes, and we love bringing visiting dogs with us on our adventures (as long as you give us the go ahead!)
