Loving Sitter Near Biltmore

Pet care experience

Located just 10 minutes from Biltmore Estate, 5 minutes from Mission Hospital, and 12 minutes from MedVet which is open 24 hours. I love dogs, and have the greatest intent to provide them with all of the friendship and care that they need. I have experience with with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and specific needs. My husband, Mark, has also had pets for most of his life, and enjoys helping me with your pups whenever he is at home with us! **I do not offer house sitting** I do have a dog of my own, Bruce the mini schnauzer, who socializes well with other dogs. He is getting older, and I cannot guarantee that he will play with your dog. He is always kind; although, he does not appreciate dogs that jump up in his face or sniff certain areas of his body for too long. Bruce also loves to bark when he is outside! We are a very active family and love to get the dogs outside for long walks, good hikes, and play time! There are also two fenced in play areas that dogs can use on the premises of my apartment complex; one of which has access to the Swannanoa river for swimming. **I do not have a yard attached to my home.**

KaLynn and her husband were wonderful. Last minute booking and had never use Rover before. Communication was great. We felt comfortable leaving both our pups. KaLynn provided updates and pictures and noted an issue with Sadie's eye. After consulting with me and her mom, a vet tech, she asked if she could give Sadie Benadryl to help with the itching. KaLynn even provided a couple of Benadryl upon pick up until I can get Sadie to the vet on Monday. THANK YOU for taking great care of Sadie and Tula. Would book with you again!

KaLynn continues to be our most favorite and trusted Rover sitter. Our dog doesn’t even look back at us when we drop him off, he’s too excited. She is excellent at sending photos and communicating throughout the stay. Book her now!

KaLynn took excellent care of our pup while we toured the Biltmore! She is prompt and professional in her responses. Highly recommend.

Safety, trust & environment

Our home is quiet and peaceful. When the weather is warm enough, we like to leave the screen windows open so that we can get some fresh air and listen to the birds. We also have a bird feeder on our patio, and most dogs enjoy watching the birds come and go. If your dog is anxious, I like to play music that is designed to help calm them down. If your dog enjoys watching TV, I also like to play "dog TV" for them.

Your dog will always be under responsible supervision whether I am at my desk studying or we are out and about. During my study breaks, your dog can expect to be given extra cuddle time, play time, and plenty of fresh air outside! We go out for walks every 3-4 hours, but I can adjust this schedule according to your dog's needs.
