I grew up with dogs, cats, and other pets in the household and am comfortable with all types of pets. In the last few years, friends, family, and coworkers house asked me to house and/or pet sit for them which I have done reliably, safely, and well. While pet sitting, I'm caring towards the pets, make sure to follow owners directions, and am overall reliable. I have taken care of younger kittens and puppies as well as senior dogs and cats and know the importance of age-appropriate care (special food needs, less or extra activity given age and breed, maintaining a pet's established boundaries, etc.). I do work full time but am currently fully remote and can house sit for anyone with a reliable wifi connection. I do work 9 to 5 but am able to shift my schedule to accommodate feeding and walking schedules of the pets as needed. I also usually take lunch time walks with dogs I care for and if they are keen to do so or do a quick visit to the dog park if appropriate. When watching dogs, I often do morning and evening walks. For cat sitting, I often do feedings in the morning and/or evening and clean cat litter nightly. Overall, I will keep the schedule you have established. Most important to me is ensuring your fur baby is taken care of and does not have huge shifts in their schedule to ensure they are comfortable with another person caring for them. While watching someone's fur baby, I keep them within permitted areas (fenced backyards or dog parks for example). I make sure your pet is clean and safe by ensuring boundaries established by the owner (other dogs, children, other adults) are maintained. While house sitting, I make sure to clean what I use (dishes, sheets, surfaces touched, etc.) and ensure mail, garbage, and recycling are taken care of. I cannot currently watch dogs or cats at my home overnight.
