Pet care experience
I have so much experience with pets. I have lived with so many breeds, from English mastiff to a Chihuahua to mixed breeds. I have always treated my pets like family. I currently have a Shiba Inu that runs the show that is my life! I am unable to take dogs into my own home due to my dog’s personality but I would love to help out where I can. An example of how passionate and caring I am about pets: I rescued a lost/dumped/stray cat and found him a home... He wouldn't leave my yard so I made him a bed, fed him daily, took him to the vet and then diligently found a loving home.

Kalyn watched my German Shepard, Bruce, while my husband and I were out of town for a couple days. New to Rover, I was a bit worried about finding an experienced, caring, dog lover to watch Bruce as he has very high separation anxiety. I’m so glad I came across Kalyn! She is a natural! She handled Bruce’s energy and anxiety soo well! The daily updates and pictures of Bruce reassured us that he was comfortable and in great hands. She went above and beyond my expectations!
Kalyn watched my Bruce for the first time over Christmas. I was nervous because he is 105 pound intact bulldog. As a rover sitter myself, I know he’s a handful. She handled him with ease. It was so wonderful to have peace of mind knowing he was in excellent hands! Bruce had a wonderful Christmas and I will definitely be calling her again!
Kalyn is a huge animal lover. She is one of the most loving pet owners I've ever come across. She gets so excited when she sees any dog, anywhere. Dog sitting is her version of heaven! She would love any dog like her own.

A typical day
I will walk the dogs, okay fetch and/or any outdoor activities. I would be happy to cuddle the dog and give the love the dog needs, especially when the pup is experiencing separation anxiety.

Availability
I work remotely so my schedule is flexible, I am only unavailable two nights a week (Monday and Wednesday after 4pm) and I’m unavailable on Saturdays.
