I live in a big house (see photos) with plenty of rooms for separating dogs if needed. I have a medium-sized fenced backyard (see photos). As a blogger and freelance editor, I have a flexible schedule and can be home all day to take care of your pup and take him/her for frequent walks.
Growing up the daughter of a veterinarian, I have been caring for dogs and other animals from a young age. My dad recruited my sister and I to help walk the dogs that were boarding at the clinic. I understand that each dog has unique needs and am careful to follow dietary and other care instructions. We always had dogs and a variety of other animals at home throughout my childhood, and I now live with my boyfriend's dog, Alice, a brilliant 9-year-old pit bull. Alice is beloved by the entire community for her good behavior and winning personality. People will walk up to her in our local coffee shop and call her by name, even if they don't know our names (or we theirs!). Alice has inspired me to get involved with other dogs. Each dog has a unique personality, and I am able/willing to accommodate each one, whether that means giving them their own space in the house or bringing them in to socialize with other dogs.
