I’m a first year medical resident who loves animals and misses her old dog! Originally from Michigan and moved to Chicago for residency in July. Because of the busy schedule I’m unfortunately unable to have a full time pet of my own. I grew up with dogs in my parent’s household and lived with cats in college. My family had three dogs - all muts. One rescued suspected Alaskan malamute mix we adopted from a junk yard up north in Michigan who ended up being the most gentle pet ever. Our last dog was a Samoyed mix adopted from the Human Society and became sick with autoimmune anemia once we brought him home, so I have some experience caring for a sick pet. I strongly believe pets make everything better in life and want to find some cute cuddly furry friends to play with!
