Pet care experience
I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 10 years old. I grew up having Labrador retrievers and always made sure that where I lived was conducive to playing with and walking my dogs. I currently have two rescues, a pitweiler and ACD/GSD, who I love SO much that I met and trained while completing a professional dog training program called Starmark. My full-time career is dog training, but I also do drop-in visits and walk dogs for clients. I used to board dogs as well, but currently live in a neighborhood with HOA restrictions. I prefer to meet you and your pup before you go out of town so that you can show me the routine and where you keep your dog's food, toys, etc. I have clients who share their garage door codes or smart lock codes with me, or sometimes have places they hide keys so that I can enter while they are away. If your pup needs to be walked or needs to be let outside, you can dictate that with me in our meet and greet.

I had a dermal allergic reaction to a client's dog during a meet & greet. I don't generally have allergies to dogs (I am allergic to cats, sadly), however I prefer to not watch bulldogs or any dogs that have wrinkling in the skin.
A typical day
With owner permission, I will take dogs on walks in their neighborhood. If appropriate, I'll play chase in the home, or grab a toy and fetch or play tug. I always bear in mind if the dog has physical limitations or if the type of play is over-arousing and could create too much excitement for the dog.
