🐾 We recently purchased our home in Murrieta and are taking on clients now! Growing up in Hawai’i, we have a large stray dog population and my parents instilled in me the importance of caring for all animals with the utmost respect and care, like they were your own family. Almost weekly we took in a new rescue or stray dog and on average care for 4-6 rescue dogs at a time. Our family joked that the dogs in the area communicated with any stray who needed shelter, love and food to just do whatever it took to make it to our home/family, because they knew we would always make sure they were cared for and even got their forever home. My upbringing has allowed me to care for a wide range of dogs breeds and temperaments. This great foundation helps me to understand what it takes to uniquely care for animals who may have fear, stress or anxiety concerns. I am currently a practicing registered nurse and have been for just under 15 years. The compassionate and nurturing spirit that drives me to love the nursing field, started with my family of origin and continues to influence everything that I do in my current family. That same spirit that drew me to the nursing field has also called me to want to care for animals in the same way. My medical knowledge allows me to be extra observant during the care of your pet and helps set me apart from other sitters in the area. In my adult life, my husband and I have been blessed with multiple precious rescue dogs of our own. We currently have 3 fur babies that steal our hearts daily. Our “grumpy old man” named Bear Bear is a 13 year old dingo dog mix. His baby face and loving energy makes most people disbelieve he is the oldest of our three. Next is our middle dog Hydro. He is a 7 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix and came to us originally as a foster shortly after we lost our last Cane Corso to bone cancer. Little did we know Hydro would be choosing us from the moment he step foot in our home. We are so privileged to have put in extra time and love into helping him grow into the confident and well balanced dog he is now. Our baby of the group’s name is Osiris. He is our goofy cuddle bug, a 2 year old Cane Corso. Though he is our biggest of our pack, he still makes us smile multiple times a day when trying to fit his extra large body into the smallest most uncomfortable places. We have experience with administering oral medication, administering injected medications and providing subcutaneous fluids to dogs multiple dogs in the past and currently. We have experience with animals who have food allergies, sensitivities and strict diets, as well as dogs with behavioral concerns including fear aggression, food aggression, and barrier aggression. We understand every pet parent has a different idea for what works best for their pet. We strive to do our best to ensure your wishes are respected when caring for your pet. I am currently only working per-diem as a RN, which allows me to make my own schedule. We do not have children currently, so this allows us to do our best by being flexible to meet your dog sitting needs. We have general designated drop off and pickups days/times: Sunday, Monday and Friday 10am-8pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7-8am and 6-8pm Saturday 7-8am and 2-6pm We are happy to discuss times outside of the ones listed to better accommodate your travel plans. Please let us know prior to booking to ensure we can accommodate *Walks, Drop-In visits and House sitting services will be completed by myself unless otherwise discussed. Boarding in our home will be completed by my husband and myself.* When we are not home for any reason all dogs will be crated/kenneled for safety. All meals will be fed inside a crate/kennel. Dog safety and comfort is our top priority! We have a large fenced in yard and a pool! We have 600 square feet of designated turf for the dog to take care of business and we have a large pool for pups who love to swim! Our fence is buried a foot down to ensure dogs who dig will be secure. All dogs are monitored at all times during their stay. We only accept dog friendly dogs to ensure safety of all dogs during their stay! During the day everyone is free to run around/play in the house and backyard. We structure our daily activities to ensure your pups have plenty of play time, mental stimulation, attention and go home happy and sleepy! 🐾
