Pet care experience
Currently limited in availability between my full time job and volunteer dog-walking at the Cleveland Animal Protection League. I have done extensive pet-sitting for previous bosses and friends, and I take shelter dogs out for doggy field trips to the beach, parks, home, etc. as well as long term fostering for shelter dogs, cats, and kittens. I was awarded “APL Volunteer of the Year” last year and am very proud of that recognition. I do what I can to make every dog’s day better when I can. I’m a quality over quantity type of person, so though my availability is currently quite limited, as I get the hang of the Rover App, (as well as a couple of good fitting clients), I’ll be able to expand my pet care services for the clients that fit well. Kaley is absolutely fantastic with my four dogs, large monitor lizard, and bird! She has years of animal experience and it truly shows. I am very picky about who I allow to pet sit and I know I can always count on her to take the best care of my babies. She is passionate about animals and it shows the moment you meet her. A pet in my care would have access to my entire pet friendly home except the basement. I have a clean pet safe bed room dedicated to fosters and overnight/boarder pets (one client at a time) in lieu of crating (crating is possible if you provide your own crate). Animals in my care get to enjoy the perks of being in a home environment, laying on the couches, getting enrichment, daily walks around the neighborhood and a fully fenced in back yard to romp around. Cat friendly is a must as I have two cats of my own.

A typical day
Dogs can expect playtime in the backyard, neighborhood walks to enjoy new sights and smells, daily enrichment (I.e. licky mats, busy boxes, ice treats), and lounging on the couches. (Cat friendly is a must as I have two cats)

I currently work locally full time from 7am-4pm. I am available, preferably with notice, as long as I don’t have prior volunteer obligations at the Cleveland APL. I have a clean animal friendly room dedicated to fosters and overnight pets (one at a time) and am available for boarding weekends and weekdays if you’re okay with them being alone while I’m at work during the weekdays.
