I grew up in rural Alaska with sled dogs, a reindeer and a flock of ducks, I've always been surrounded by animals. I've always had dogs in my home, since getting out on my own as an adult. I currently have 3 large dogs, that are rescues, that are family; so much so that my husband and I purchased a home due to them when we moved to Enterprise. Giving them up wasn't an option for us. I've kept snakes, lizards, hamsters, freshwater aquariums and hermit crabs; all properly taken care of with thorough research before having them in my home.
