Pet care experience
All dogs, big and small, young and wise... I will love them like they're mine! Hi there! My name is Kaleigh. I live with my gorgeous Akita/German Shepherd mixes Thunder (male) and Lightning (female) they are litter mates and crate trained. Dogs are people too, we love them like they're our children! For me: they ARE my children! All my life I was surrounded by pets since birth, first by Murphy (a Brittany Spaniel) who I was so blessed to be loved by for 16 years. After Murphy passed my parents adopted Noah (an American Staffordshire Terrier) from the Humane Society (who still lives with my dad today) and shortly after I moved out, I rescued Daisy (a Whippet/German Shorthaired Pointer/Lab mix). Now I have litter mates Thunder and Lightning (Akita/German Shepherd mixes). I haven't been able to survive a day without the unconditional love that only dogs can give. As you can tell I have experience with various temperaments and a variety of sizes, big and small. What I provide: Feeding Dog Walking Administering Medication (oral, topical or injectable) Play time--I typically do a few hours at a nearby dog park, the dogs I watch usually have a great time playing fetch and socializing with other dogs, but nothing beats playtime in a nice fenced in backyard!

Kaleigh was great with my Cat Apollo. She came by on the days I requested when I was out of town, stayed awhile to play with him, and made sure he had fresh food and water. I’ll definitely use her again when the need arises!
Kaleigh is a wonderful, attentive caregiver who will treat your pet as her own. She is very accessible with great availability. Kaleigh does an excellent job of managing several pets at once while still giving each pet the care and attention they need. It was always a pleasure to work with Kaleigh and know that everyone would have the same experience with her.
Was so grateful to have her help me out with my dog Luna. I was in the area briefly visiting my dad in the hospital and did not want to leave Luna alone in the Airbnb that I had booked. Kaleigh came for a few drop in visits and one very long walk mid-day. She was very accommodating to our schedule and kept me updated on how Luna was doing throughout the day. Would highly recommend her and absolutely book again!
Our Dog sitter was great! Eli seemed to have a great time, and Kaleigh texted pics and updates during her stay, which we really appreciated. Kaleigh even made dog cookies from scratch, and did his nails. Definitely would use the service again.”

I prefer firm direction from pet parent(s) to ensure that sit/stays/walks go as smoothly as possible. Your input is greatly appreciated!

I would like to know if there is any allergies, if they are up to date on their vaccinations, flea and heart worm, spayed or neutered. If friendly with other dogs and/or people. No breed preferences, all are welcome! I can host more than one dog per night/rate varies (with consent of all pet owners, of course)
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: We will take walks in your neighborhood, your favorite spot(s) or for some exercise at a local dog park. This is where I would typically take your dog for exercise, unless requested otherwise. Your input is greatly appreciated! Your dog's sleeping arrangement: I would ask the pet parent for their preferences. My goal is to keep their beloved canine friends safe and comfortable. Time I'll spend with your dog: Drop-ins are preferred but all day is possible, if requested. Unless I have to leave for a short period of time. I'm aware that if a dog has separation anxiety s/he cannot be left alone, unless directed by pet parent.

Availability
I am currently working part time and in school; it is fully online so I can easily fit walks into my day and would really enjoy spending more time outdoors during this time of the year!
