Pet care experience
Hello! I am a 27 year old college student going to school for Social Work and looking to make some extra money doing something I love - caring for animals. I have a bearded dragon, 3 cats, a golden retriever, and a red heeler! I have spent my entire life around animals of all kinds - and I am no stranger to taking care of my friends‘ and family’s pets. I live to make others lives easier in any way possible - a walk, a pop in visit or two (or three or four or...), or someone to stay with your pet when you have to be out of town and don’t want to change up their routine. As a pet parent, I know how stressful that can be finding the right person! No matter what kind of animal you’re needing care for, I would love to be your go to. I have loved getting to know other people’s fur kids and always look forward to seeing a wagging tail when I drop in to help. :) If anything is unclear or you have any questions, just shoot me a message and I’d be happy to get you some answers!

Kalee lived with me for nearly two years and often cared for my two dogs and cat when I had to go out of town. There is no one more caring and attentive towards animals needs than Kalee. She was always quick to treat my dogs as her own and spoil them rotten when I had to be away for several days at a time.
As anyone with a pet knows, finding someone that cares for your pet as much as you do can be a challenge. As soon as Kalee arrived I could tell she was the right call. My dog doesn't typically take to strangers at first, but he loved her at first sight. He found a new best bud and I found my go-to dog sitter.

I try to stick to your pets routines, as it helps when getting familiar with a new face and Mom/Dad being away. I love keeping them busy and playing (when they’re younger or active, of course) and try to make the experience fun instead of miserable.

No breed restrictions on my end. I just need to know what your dog needs based on their personality, environment, routine, any disabilities, etc. I grew up around bully breeds and have high energy breeds myself now. I love a lazy, snuggly pup just as much as I love a fetch fiend. Just let me know what a daily routine looks like for you guys - or what you might benefit having more of - and I’ll do my best.
A typical day
I am familiar with a lot of Louisville parks and neighborhoods - and I am open to anywhere you have in mind for your furry friend(s)! Even if it’s just your backyard, I love being outside. I spend most of my own free time outside in my own backyard playing fetch with my own dogs.
