Pet care experience
I lost my childhood dog a few years ago, and it was the most traumatic loss I've experienced in life so far. He was my best friend and cuddle buddy. I've always loved animals and have a special love for dogs, Rover and fostering for Seattle Humane has introduced me to so many different dog mixes and personalities! I'd love to be able to provide love, care, play, walks, and adventures for your pup! I live in central Bellevue, spend a lot of time at Downtown Bellevue Park, and the beaches in Kirkland. I am an active, outdoorsy person and love to have a furry companion to explore surrounding neighborhoods. Fully remote work means I get to spend lots of time with my dog clients!

K.C. took such great care of our mini dachshund. She's super attentive, keeps an eye on any behavior changes, and sends really timely messages and updates. Our best experience on Rover so far. We'd book again any time and highly recommend her!
KC took wonderful care of our home and two large Golden Retrievers that required lots of love and attention! Responsible, smart, trustworthy and loving, we were grateful to be able to get away for a wedding without concern for our dogs.
This was our first experience with Rover, first time leaving a dog with a stranger (usually our son is able to dogsit for us), and we'd only had the dog K.C. took care of for three weeks. She was fabulous! First, she actually showed up for a meet & greet (the person I contacted before her via rover.com set up a meet & greet, then didn't show up or call!). She accommodated a last minute meet & greet. And she put me at ease right away. Our dog is 55 pounds and still pulls on the leash...that didn't seem to faze her. She has experience with a 95-pound dog. Within an hour of leaving our dog with her, she took him for a walk right away (because she knew that's a good way to bond with a new dog) and sent a photo. She stayed in contact. She was polite, professional and my dog returned happy and healthy. I couldn't have asked for better in a dogsitter. Thank you so much!
K.C. was amazing! She sent us videos and pictures of our dog, Max, and was very attentive! We also really appreciated that her response time was fast. She took him on walks every day and when we picked him up, we could tell he had a great time! We definitely recommend K.C. for your dog sitting needs. Thank you again K.C.!

Most importantly is to know about the dog's comfort level with other dogs and people / children. I am comfortable with all breeds and understand some dogs can have traumatic pasts or quirks about certain sounds, objects, people, etc. Just providing the background knowledge is all I need, and I know how to adapt from there.
A typical day
Playing with dogs is absolute therapy for me. I love taking walks around downtown Bellevue Park. I'm the person who stops to say hi and meet every dog :) Working from home allows me plenty of flexibility to be able to take breaks and loop around the apartment complex and neighborhood throughout the day.
