I have simply have a passion for dogs! I know how much I love my dogs, and if I needed someone to care for them I’d want to make sure they get the best sitter who will give them love and good care. I want to be that person for other people! There’s nothing like giving a dog the love and affection they need to thrive, so being a dog sitter really is a dream come true for me! Being the best sitter I can be and giving owners piece of mind is my goal. I have a long history of taking care of pups. Growing up, my family had Golden Retrievers, but we’ve since had Terrier mixes and more. I have volunteered with an organization called HARP, that rescues homeless dogs and helps them find the right home, and helped with all kinds of breeds, big and small, through the organization. It was a great experience and I learned a lot in the process! My family also fostered a dog who was a rescued stray, but we ended up being foster-failures, meaning we adopted him ourselves and he is now a happy member of our family! When taking on a new client, I definitely prefer to schedule a meet-and-greet first. That way, we can make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another. It’s also a great opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and the most important aspects of the stay. No one knows their pup better than you do, so I love to get as much information as I can right from the source! Lastly, I always like to introduce myself to pups before I take them under my care, as I think it makes the whole process go by a lot smoother. When your pup is under my care, I’ll strive to provide the best customer service possible. I am very detail-oriented and am a bit of a perfectionist! Since dogs are creatures of habit, I like to stick to the schedules that they’re used to at home--that means meal times, potty breaks, and exercise regimens. That way, they can feel right at home with me! Additionally, I always provide tons of updates with accompanying photos so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together!
