Hi new friends! I’m so proud and thankful to say 2024 will be my EIGHTH YEAR providing pet services with Rover! Initially I started professionally sitting here as one of Tucson’s top rated boarders for over 3 years until the pandemic... Since then I switched to travel-based pet services as my full-time work and balance a few different gigs on the side. My short and tailored errands are usually grocery shopping, hiking/biking or birdwatching nearby, or as much as I can I like to volunteer work with Tucson Clean & Beautiful, Many Mouths One Stomach for the Tucson All Souls Procession, and others. After a decade in Tucson I am fortunate to have made so many special pet/caregiver and client relationships, especially those long-term relationships. I still see some of my original daycare dogs whom I met at 6 months old and I also understand how to meet the different needs of “pandemic puppies” so all pet parents can enjoy time away for whatever reason with comfort and peace of mind. Over the years I have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, in addition to cats, rabbits, birds, spiders, snakes, ferrets & other rodents, fish, chickens, and even goats! I currently offer pet care services in which I travel to my client at the pet’s home or neighborhood for either brief drop-in services or house-sitting services where I spend most of my waking hours plus I sleep in the home overnight with the pets.

Kaitlynn is the best! Our dogs are in great care with her, our house is always spotless when we get back home and she’s wonderful with updates and responding back to us in a timely manner! We will continue to use her for dog/house sitting for as long as she’s available!

• How long have your pets lived with you? • Do they have any health conditions or take medications? • Do they have any allergies? • Have they ever been away from you overnight? How did it go? • Potty routine: Is there a dog door? If not how often do they need to go out? • What's the feeding schedule? • What time of day do you plan for leaving/returning? • Any other tasks I can help with? (Bring in mail, trash/recycling cans, waste pickup, etc) • Where in your home are you offering for me to sleep in? Please note, rates are subject to change based on dates and availability.
A typical day
Typical day is I get up, go outside with the dog for the A.M. business before heading back inside for breakfast. I like to go outside for some stretching and bird watching(usually) and if needed, walks! I love to go for a bike ride or hike a couple times a week! In the cooler months I’m down to take a client dog for field trips if they are allowed. My favorite place to take dogs is Honeybee Canyon and I always bring a large pack with more than enough water. Other errands may include groceries, visiting my roommates & dogs or other friends, local markets and trash clean-up type of events. Generally I only schedule one outing on any given day and typically stay in the entire first day that you’re gone. There have been pets whose needs required I stay with them at all times and I can accommodate with my Puppy Rate.

Availability
Rover is my entire income and my availability is devoted to pet care first but with checking in at home, being mindful of my own health, and commit when I can, it takes a careful balance. I experience chronic pain with occasional flare-ups and I also volunteer here and there throughout the Tucson community so I often have some other light duties or responsibilities to attend to while I am house sitting. My usual errands I limit to 5 hours or much less and always tailor them according to client’s instructions and the pet’s apparent needs.
