Kaitlynn is an absolutely wonderful dog sitter! My 11-month old Vizsla Maya gets the exercise, socialization, love and care she needs when she stays with Kaitlynn. Maya is completely exhausted by the time I get her home and is always excited to see Kaitlynn. Kaitlynn is amazing with accommodations and ensuring my pup is well taken care of during her stay, whether for boarding or doggy daycare. I can’t recommend her enough!!

Kaitlynn has been wonderful with Nala. Nala gets to play In such an open space with other dogs, that she comes home tired. Kaitlynn is also very knowledgeable!

***so sorry, no pitbulls or rottweilers--landlord's policy--please don't ask***

I was born an animal lover. I was lucky to grow up with my dogs. I was blessed to have also cared for cats, goats, birds, small rodents, fish and tarantulas. Without contest, dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've been caring for my best friends as long as I can remember. I am flattered how often I hear the "dog whisperer" compliment and ...

What Kaitlynn would like to know about your dog

*once again, NO pittbulls, rottweilers or mixes thereof*

PLEASE complete your pet's entire pet profile before contacting me! I cannot evaluate if we are a match unless I have the full picture.

I will ask for proof of current vaccinations before we schedule a Meet&Greet. All pets must be microchipped(available for $20 from HSSAZ) and be current on Rabies, DAPP/DHPP-2, Bordatella and Leptospiros.

Any of this information is also helpful:
• Have they ever been boarded or stayed apart from you?
• Describe your pet's socialization with other dogs.
• Is your dog registered in Pima County?
• Do they ever "mark territory" or have accidents indoors?
• Where does your pet usually sleep? Are they crate trained?
• Any health conditions or food allergies?

--Again, sorry, NO PITBULLS, NO ROTTWEILERS nor obvious mixes thereof, per my rental agreement--

When Kaitlynn watches your pet

While caring for others' dogs, I stay home full time. My daycare hours start at 6:30 AM, pick-up time is negotiable and I do what I can to accommodate all of my clients needs.

My entirely fenced(5'-6') and locked yard is bigger than some dog parks and I usually have more than one guest at a time. This lends to a dog "camp" type of experience so we don't need to leave the property to get running and exercise. Most parents tell me their dogs go home happy and exhausted! We play a lot of catch, fetch and tug-of-war so prefer the most durable rubber toys by JW and Kong. When it gets hot I sometimes fill the puppy pool for those water dogs to splash around. Besides all of the space to run, dig, bark, wrestle and gallop, the backyard has plenty of shady trees to lay down outside. When the weather allows I leave my front and back doors open so dogs are welcome to wander in and out as they please.

Inside the house is completely tiled and pets are indeed allowed on the furniture AND the bed (if they can jump that high). My couches are genuine leather and the living room is full of dog beds and blankets. Fresh water is always available inside and out in 7 different bowls scattered around the property. I have plenty of space for your pet's own bed or crate (if they have one) to sleep & eat in a private, familiar space. They spend most time in the yard but definitely get a potty break every couple hours if weather closes the doors.

Snacks/treats may include Milk-Bones, carrots, green beans, blueberries, stawberries and other veggies. Please advise if your dog has an allergy, eats grain free, or if you have any other preference (provided by you).

If your dog gets dirty they will likely get a bath before you pick them up. If your dog gets muddy they will DEFINITELY get a bath before pick-up. Baths are included at NO CHARGE, schedule allowing, and if you prefer I use your pet's regular shampoo, please bring it! As long as I have an hour notice on pickup time, I generally make sure all dirt-loving boarding guests go home freshly bathed.

Nail trimming is a specialty service that I can provide for just $16. I use a gentle sanding tool called Pedipaws instead of the basic spring-loaded clippers. Nearly every client tells me they put it off because their dog becomes fussy, difficult or even aggressive, occasionally needing sedatives. My trimming is especially great for dogs with black nails. I have never met a dog whose nails I could not trim. I am strong but gentle, patient, and have time on my side when your pet comes for boarding or daycare. Please ask or if I see it is needed I will offer to add this service.
