Greetings - I have owned dogs, cats, horses and livestock my whole life - so my love of animals stems from a deep place in my heart. Now that I live in DC, I no longer have animals in my life (aside from my loving cat), so I would love the chance to treat your dogs/animals like mine while you are away. I know the stress and concern animal owners have when leaving their 4-legged children, so I will do everything I can to ensure you are comfortable, frequently updated on your animal(s), and well informed of any obstacles that arise. I have extensive experience with dogs that are elderly, on lots of medications and/or blind, as well as dogs that have lots and lots of energy. If you would like to board your dog at my place, please note that I have one cat who absolutely adores dogs (he is a dog at heart). If your dog has never been around cats, my cat has a great way of making any dog a cat-loving companion! I have a backup plan established to relocate my cat during the stay if they don't hit it off - but I have never had any issues previously. My cat does a great job of keeping the 4-legged friends company while I am at work! My work is a 10 minute walk from home, so I will always be home for a lunch time snuggle/walk/potty break.
