Hi, I'm Katie! I'm 32 years old and I’ve cared for pets my entire life. From my own pets to others, I have experience caring for the special needs of each individual animal. Whether that be allergies, arthritis, asthma, or physical needs, I’m patient and work with the animal in my care and have experience administering medication. I love animals of all kinds and have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, and lizards. My Service areas for house sittings and drop-ins are Upper Darby, Havertown, Springfield, Broomall, and Drexel Hill. SAFETY NOTES: I’ll often have stays overlap so your pet may have a friend with them during their stay. Your pet’s safety is my number one priority! Therefore: 1. When watching pets from different homes, I will only accept the boarding of the other pet I’m caring for at the time is a repeat client I’ve seen around other pets before. 2. ALL PETS MUST BE FIXED! The only exceptions I make are pets that are too young and pets with upcoming appointments to be. Having an unfixed pet around fixed ones can sometimes lead to safety issues. So to keep everyone safe, I prefer them to be fixed.

The only things I require you to bring are their food and leash and, in the case of cats, their litter box. Otherwise, anything else you choose to bring is entirely up to you. In addition to my fenced in yard, I provide a crate for crate trained dogs, toys, bowls, treats, dog bed, and I sleep downstairs in the living room with them during the duration of their stay. This way, if something were to happen in the middle of the night, I’m right there to help them. Also, staying in a new place can be scary, even for the bravest animal. So having me there at all times is a comfort for them I’m happy to provide.

A typical day
I go on a lot of walks and my backyard is perfect for fetch and running around. I take the dogs out frequently for exercise.

Availability
I work from home, so I’m here most of the time. I help my stepsister out with childcare, so sometimes I won’t be. But I live with other people and there’s always someone home, so there will always be someone here to take care of your pet.
