Pet care experience
I have always had dogs in my life but finally in 2012 I rescued/adopted my baby girl Kahlua (Terrier Mix) and then in 2018 my boyfriend and I rescued/adopted our boy Balto (Siberian Husky). They have become my children and light up my dark days. I always go out of my way to make them feel special and I want them to know they are extremely loved. With that said, I hope that I will be able to take care of your dogs and treat them just like my own. I am hoping I get to meet a lot of great dogs and people with this journey!

Kaitlyn was absolutely fantastic with my two dogs! One is a puppy who we'd never been away from before. Kaitlyn's frequent updates and clear communication meant we had no worries at all while we were gone. It was clear she was dedicated to their care. We came home to two happy dogs. Kaitlyn is a very, loving and caring person for peole and pets. She loves her doggies and will love yours too. She is very dependable and reliable. She lovea going on walks with her doggies and just hanging out with them. She's awesome!!

At my home, when we are gone, our dogs have free roam of the house. If you would like your dog crated I do not mind doing that. My dogs have loved me working from home because on nice days we all will sit in the backyard while I work.

Please be completely transparent on your dog(s) behavior, especially around new people and other dogs, and needs. If your dog(s) will be around my dogs, my Husky is very playful but also likes his rest time.
A typical day
I enjoy taking my dogs on walks and playing fetch. If your dog loves to go hiking and exploring then I’m your girl! We’ve taken our Husky on Musser Gap multiple times and also explored Greenwood Furnace State Park and Shingletown Gap. A new thing that I’ve found that is mentally stimulating is lick mats, with some peanut butter and small treats.

Availability
I work full time from home. So my schedule is flexible during the day with dog care and if your dogs come to my house they will get to spend a lot of time in our fenced in backyard on nice days soaking up the sun and playing with my pups. I also have a little kiddy pool that our Husky LOVES to play in!
