Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Kaitlyn! In my home, I have 4 cats and 2 dogs. My zoo is full of extrovert energy, special care and diets, and a recovering rescue. When my adopted pup first came to us he was scared and skittish around people. We worked with him to learn how to feel safe and understand love. We joke that he has become a real dog. My golden retriever is allergic to everything under the sun and has a very sensitive stomach. I am very use to being cautious with "what are you chewing on?!" When I lived with my parents we had a goldendoodle which as a family we shared responsibilities. Now when my family goes on vacation, I am their go to dog sitter. Golden doodles are sensitive breeds, so I am ready to be as cautious as you need.Please contact me with any questions you have for me! I would love to take your dog on walks, play outdoors or indoors, and just give your dog extra "person" time. I understand cats can be aloof or cuddle bugs. I will take the time to give them attention or give them their space while I scoop litter and feed.

Kaitlyn is always amazing! She’s consistent and great about communicating, takes great care of my pup when I’m away, and as a new pet owner (going on 4 months now!) she has helped me to watch out for things that I may not have been aware of. I’ll happily and highly recommend her to anyone
Kaitlyn is great with our baby and she makes being away from him easier! We got him when we were working primarily from home and leaving him during the day now has been a hard adjustment. She gives him all the love, takes him to do his business, plays with him and tires him out, and makes sure he’s good to go until we get home. It’s been a game changer!
Thanks again Kaitlyn! You make me feel so much more comfortable knowing you’ll be there when I have to leave my buddy at home.
Our dogs enjoyed their time with Kaitlyn. She sent pics and updates along the way. For the meet and greet she made sure she completely understood all our beagles needs. We will for sure use her again!

With my zoo I unfortunately cannot take any pets into my home. So at your house it is your rule. I would prefer to do a meet and greet when you will be home so we can go over the best care and your pet can see me as a trusted person.

If a dog has any special conditions I would like to know upfront as well as how your dog handles new people. I am willing to work with all shapes and sizes!
A typical day
I understand some dogs love running around the yard with toys and being chased. Some dogs love long or short walks. Some dogs love water play. My dogs enjoy play fighting with me, a good game of tug a war, and fetch. I also have a variety of toys that can hide treats and toys that can be stuffed with snacks. I would prefer not to go to busy dog parks just because you never know how other dogs will react there.

Availability
With the zoo I have I am used to pet care 24/7 and can alter my schule based on my pets needs. My work schedule is 11pm-7a so I am available mornings until 2 pm and nights until I go to work.
