Active Yogi That LOVES Furbabes(:

Pet care experience

Hi Friends! I'm a healthy and active yoga teacher and student at UNR that is passionate about animals of all shapes and sizes. I was born and raised on a ranch with a variety of creatures from hamsters and chickens to goats and horses and everything in between. My true speciality lies within pups and kitties. I had my first dog at age 3 and have been responsible for at least one dog (although often 2 or 3) since then. In my adolescence I ran a small "Critter Care" service and my love of animals continued to blossom once I graduated high school. I've taken care of many of my friends and neighbors animals while they were on vacation or if their pup just needed some extra exercise. I currently have 3 lovable mutts and 2 adorable kitties of my own(: I have two Boxer/Bulldog/Pit mixes that are littermates named Bodhi and Moo plus a mischievous Husky/Shepherd named Loki. I adopted two sweet kitties a few years ago: Indi (a domestic black cat) and Tiva (a snowshoe siamese). They light up my life like no-one and nothing else can! I am comfortable taking care of dogs of any size from teacup to giant (through the years I've been blessed with a 3.5lb teacup Chihuahua to a 125lb Malamute). I love to take dogs on walks or take them to the dog park. I can groom them, bath them, administer meds, and just about anything else you may require *just ask me about my rates*. You can be assured that I will provide your furbabes with ample love and conscientious care. Brightest Blessings!

Kaitlyn was great! She was super attentive to our needs and our pup's needs. It was our first time using Rover as we just got our pup in December. She was thoroughly a pleasure to work with and kept us informed of the daily activities via text each day. She definitely eased my concerns with everything. We had an amazing experience and our pup made a new friend! I would definitely work with Kaitlyn again!

I have known Kaitlyn for many years, she has watched my dog and cat on numerous occasions. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants their pets to be treated with care and compassion. Her fun and energetic personality is a perfect match for any pet. She's a true animal lover; that connects with any animal that comes her way!

Information Kaitlyn M. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed preferences. I love all dogs: young or old, big or small, active or lazy(: Before watching your baby I would like to know the following: - Does your dog have separation anxiety? If so, what are some ways I can relieve their anxiety? - What are your dog's favorite activities? - What is your dog's feeding schedule? - Does your dog have any behavioral quirks that I should be aware of? - Does your dog get along with other dogs? Cats? - What is your dog's favorite dog park to attend or hike to venture on? - Does your dog like water and/or swimming? - Is there anything else I can do or provide to ensure a great experience?

A typical day

My favorite place to take dogs is the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park which has a HUGE open space, off leash area! Although I am happy to take your pup to any nearby dog park that you recommend. I would love to walk your dog around your neighborhood or take them for a jaunt across campus (I just LOVE that dogs are allowed on campus at UNR!). I can play fetch for hours. I love playing tag or keep away as well. If your dog likes water I can take them for a day hike/swim sesh at Boca Lake or Lake Tahoe for an extra charge. DROP-IN VISITS INCLUDE: -Water refill -Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner -Treats (if provided) -Outdoor potty break (with poop pickup) -Fetch, tag, or keep away for 10 minutes -Lots of cuddles and belly rubs OVERNIGHT VISITS INCLUDE: -Arrival in the early evening -Dinner/Water refill -After dinner walk -Potty breaks as needed throughout the night -Breakfast/Water refill -After breakfast walk -Poop pickup in the yard as needed -Departure in the morning + Endless cuddles/belly rubs and treats (if provided)
