I have loved animals since I was a child. Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian, my mom would take me to adoption events to volunteer as young as 10 years old where I would walk the dogs and use my charm to find these animals homes (who can say no to a 10yo girl in pigtails holding a puppy?). This lasted throughout high school while also having a dog of my own. I then joined the army and had dreams of working with K9s as Military working dogs but realized being an officer I wouldn’t get to do the cool training. While in the army I rescued 3 more dogs and 2 cats. I ended up keeping only my original one, a black lab named Wrigley (Go Cubs!) who’s been around animals his entire life and is the most docile boy ever. I have recently adopted a 6yo Australian Shepherd Elliot who only cares about fetch #ballislife and could care less about my cat Tuna or my lazy lab. I walk them every morning and afternoon (benefits of working remotely) and would love to provide that exercise and happiness for your pups! I am doggy CPR and first aid certified (perks of having Military Police K9 handler friends!) and will treat your fur baby as if they were my own.
