Pet care experience
Animals are my passion! I have encountered many fur babies growing up, ranging from itty-bitty to over sized lapdogs. I have previous experience working at a dog grooming salon and it was gratifying being able to pamper the dogs by spend time getting to know them individually and returning them to their owners freshly rejuvenated. Witnessing the appreciation and excitement when the dogs are reunited with their loved ones is what I look forward to the most.

Kaitlyn was very professional through the whole experience…. She worked around my schedule and even agreed to a home visit! She cut my dogs nails and gave him a bath! After made him look like a brand new dog! I was very happy with using her for my dogs needs!

I have a fenced yard for my two dogs and my cat has a room of his own. We do have baby gates to prevent the dogs from going in certain areas, such as the kitchen, which allows me to keep an eye on them as much as possible. I have extra beds and blankets for the comfort of all animals. I understand the importance of following instructions and taking note of any extra needs for everyone’s safety.

Some information that is important ahead of time is: If your pets are up to date on all of their records, if they happen to have any current or past illnesses/injuries/and or allergies, anything that helps to calm your pet if they have anxiety or etc., if they are aggressive/protective in any manner, do they like to try and chase after things(animals,cars,people), if there is a particular schedule that you have your pets on, if there are specific commands that you use/don’t use, emergency contact information/vet, if your pets have a special toy/blanket, and what their overall behavior is to new things and in general.
A typical day
I love nothing more than being outside and having fur babies to play with! Allowing the animals to experience a new environment is important and what better way to do so then exploring Mother Nature! We can go for rides, listen to relaxing music, get our paws a little dirty while smelling the flowers, collecting sticks, and soaking up the sun on our walking adventures.

Availability
I have two dogs and a cat of my own whom I keep on a constant regular schedule. We take walks every day, usually twice a day, for about an hour long. One of my dogs, Cleo, has hip issues, so we take shorter walks as advised by her vet. I understand that walks are healthy way of keep animals fit and stress free.
