I can watch dogs, cats and ferrets ( if I’m lucky 🥹) for over 10 years I’ve been pet sitting either at my house or a clients. Cat sitting is strictly at clients house. As I’m sure you know, cats do not like change. I have two myself. I do not have a fenced in yard yet. So far it hasn’t been a problem. I will need leash and harness if used. I do have chickens and two outside cats. The chickens will be fenced in soon. The cats stay away from any dogs visiting. My Bulldog is ancient and does not pay attention to anything besides food. My two young kids will be in daycare for a few hours a day so your dog will be able to roam free. If they are good pups, they won’t have to be blocked off from the rest of the party. I’ve had dogs sleep in our bed at times. We love having pups over to play. My kids especially love it so if you know your dog isn’t a fan of kids, kindly book another sitter. Money isnt everything but my happiness is. I have experience with a diabetic dog I'm 5'2 and 120 pounds so the larger doggos need to be trained for walks. I have learned my lesson. Thank you and have a great day! I'm a stay-at-home mom to a two year old I have a specific room with gate for dogs to relax and get accustomed to new environment. After they acclimate they are free to roam the house and sit on couch with us. No fence yet but I will soon hopefully I have an old bulldog who is part of the family. My daughter loves her so much Kiwi was her first word. I do have a cat that is only inside at night. He doesn't seem bothered by dogs unless barked at.
