Pet care experience
When I was growing up we had a houseful of animals ranging from fish and cats to chihuahuas and pit bulls, which is how I discovered my love for animals. As an adult, I have had a cat with cerebella hypoplasia, and have taken care of many disabled cats and dogs. I now own a cat named Nick Fury, and although I wish I had a dog he just won’t allow for that right now. I work part mostly from home but I do go into an office downtown once weekly for around 6-8 hours. I am also a full time student (also at home), and I am available to come over and watch your animals for you when needed :) I love animals with a passion and enjoy spending time with them and talking them for walks. I have quite a bit of flexibility in my hours so I can work around your animals usual schedule as needed!

Kaitlyn was the perfect person to watch my babies! She was so patient with my very skittish cat and got him to warm up to her fairly quickly, and took wonderful care of my dog who is an extra large puppy and can be a lot to manage! She took excellent care of them and kept me updated regularly on how they were eating, acting, playing, etc. I will absolutely be booking with her again!
This is the second time I have booked Kaitlyn to stay with my dog and two cats and she did a wonderful job again. She sends lots of photos and updates and it’s clear all of them enjoy having her here.
Kaitlyn did a great job with my dog and two cats. She shared plenty of updates and photos and it was clear they all loved her. She left my house in great shape and even dealt with a unexpected sink leak.
Kaitlyn did an excellent job with our dog and cat! She was very communicative and flexible to our schedule. Additionally, our house was clean upon our return and our pets were happy and healthy.

Before scheduling, I do need to know any special needs or requirements your animals may have. Dietary issues or special feeding schedules, and medical problems. I also need to know how friendly the animal is, both to myself without you there, and on walks of we encounter another animal. If cats are allowed outside alone, knowing when to expect them to come back is also helpful!
A typical day
Daily walks if the dogs are able, if not I play fetch and chase with them in the yard, if one is available. I try to find parks or waterways nearby for good long walks if they are able! If they cannot walk, and they are small enough or have a wagon or stroller, I still like to make sure they get out and about for some fresh air and sniffs.

Availability
I work part time from home, and although I am a student full time, all of my classes are remote. My schedule is very flexible, so I am able to work around your pets needs.
