I believe dogs are eternally and unconditionally loving and that they can sense your emotions and somehow, they just know how to make any day better! I find taking care of dogs to be incredibly fulfilling and by caring for them I feel that I am giving back to the most giving creatures in the world. Simply put, I love dogs! They excite me just by existing in this world. It might sound cheesy, but it is very true. I am so excited to meet all sorts of dogs and let them touch my heart in the way only dogs can. I grew up surrounded by dogs and my mother and I trained our Border Collies in obedience and agility. On top of training and living with a number of dogs, we had many other animals as well and I have experience with cats, birds, fish, rodents and reptiles. I love all animals and would offer the same amount of love and care to any other pet a family would have. I am a very animal-oriented person, which makes working with Rover such a great fit as I want to continue animals in my life. If your pup were to stay with me, walks and playtime are definite musts. I would make sure they felt loved and cared for while their family is away. During a weekend stay, your pup would get my full attention and I would do everything I can to make sure they never feel lonely. I also love going for walks and I try to walk at least five miles a day -- it would be great to have a canine companion with me! While you’re away I will keep in regular contact so that you can know your dog is safe and well cared for and I will do my absolute best to meet every request you have. Most of all, you can be assured that I will love and care for your pup as if were my own!
