I consider myself a warm and gentle cat sitter that goes out of my way to make sure your kitty feels safe and at ease with me. I've grown up caring for multiple cats in my family, and now have two of my very own, Onyx and Iroh. My experience volunteering at Forgotten Felines and Fidos and TNRing feral cat colonies has exposed me to all different types of feline personalities. I feel very confident reading cat body language and getting down on their level for pets, cuddles, play, or just respecting their boundaries while making sure they are well taken care of while you are away! My professional and academic experience include earning a minor in animal science at university, professionally pet sitting for 6 years, learning and working with trainers and pet nutritionists, and educating pet owners on ideal care for their beloved pets. In addition, I have experience caring for small mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. I have two guinea pigs of my own, Leo and Atlas, that I love very much!! If you need care for additional pets other than cats, we can work out pricing together and I'd be happy to care for them! My goal is to ensure YOU and your CAT, guinea pig, hamster, ferret, fish, gecko, etc are happy! My rates are set at a price to take Rover’s fees and percentage and gas mileage into consideration.
