Pet care experience
I’ve had different animals since I was little. I’ve had guinea pigs, dogs, and cats. I currently live in a household with 3 dogs, one of which is my beagle. During college, I had opportunities to take care of my neighbors dog, guinea pigs, and plants when she was out of town. I care for my sister’s dogs when she is out of town. Another lady had my sister and I house sit and care for her dog when they went out of town. If you have any questions about my experience please don’t hesitate to ask.

Kaitlyn has been taking care of the pets in our neighborhood for several years now. Whether it is a dog, cat , or any other four legged family member, she makes sure our pets are cared for while we are traveling on business or vacation. She is a very reliable, responsible, and personable person and being a pet owner herself, she has a great temperament for taking care of animals. She is our first call if we need someone to take care of our furry family member.

When I have dog sat before, I fed the dogs according to the owners feeding schedule and let them out to use the bathroom and play for a while. In my own home, I feed my dog twice a day, give him his flea, tick, and heart worm medication 1x a month, and try to take him on walks during clear weather. My sister’s dogs are rescues and one of them is timid, but we are currently working on getting her used to walking beyond our street. Otherwise, we keep plenty of toys out for the dogs and play most of the day. On days I work, my dog is in a crate because he is currently training but normally one of my sisters are off work and can let him out for me.

Please let me know if any special needs your dog may require. I also may not have much experience with elderly dogs, but I would love to care for them if you let me know what I need to do different for them. Please let me know how they interact with other dogs, this way I know if Henry can tag along on walks or not. You can always tell me if you prefer me not walk Henry with your dog(s). If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to ask.
A typical day
I love to take my dog and sisters dogs on walks. We also relax outside in the sun on warm days in our fenced in area so they can play without leashes. Our dogs love to walk around our neighborhood, and there are two local parks they really enjoy. My beagle, Henry, likes to go to the coffee shop with me and to meet up with friends at the dog park.

Availability
I am currently a full time nurse looking for something fun to do in my free time. My schedule is not the most predictable, but on my time off I love to get outdoors when it’s nice out or spend time in the house with my dogs on rainy days.
