Hello! I’ve had dogs my whole life and now that I’m in college I miss being around them! I’ve been doing dog walking/sitting for about 2 years now and I love every second of it. I have provided care for many different dogs. One in particular was an 11 year-old black lab who was blind but LOVED running. I’m in my first year at WWU so I’m definitely busy, however I’d love to walk dogs on the side so I can explore this amazing town I and get to know your pup! For the last 2 years I’ve been volunteering at the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society walking, playing with, and socializing dogs. Being around and enriching the lives of not just dogs, but all animals, is something I’ve always been very passionate about!

I have no breed preferences (although I do really love pit bulls!). There are a few things I’d want to know before walking a dog. How to they act around strangers? What sorts of things are they sensitive to during walks (dog reactivities, birds, squirrels)? Would it be ok if I snuck your pup some treats during the walk? How does he/she act around kids/cats/dogs? Does the dog have any health issues I should keep an eye out for?
A typical day
I would be willing to take special requests! If your dog likes swimming, playing fetch at the park, going to the dog park, hiking, or anything you could think of- I’m more than happy to accommodate that!
