Hello, my name is Katie (AKA dog mom) 😎 Yall I love ALL the animals - dogs, cats, bunnies, even wildlife! Since I was a young girl, we've always had dogs and cats in our home and care. I have had a lot of experience with many different kinds of animals - from dogs and cats to horses and alpacas! In the past I've worked in a commercial doggie daycare/boarding/grooming facility, I've sat for many family and friends, and I've also spent time as a ranch hand on a local alpaca ranch here in Northern Colorado. I have learned so much through my experience working with animals - about behavior, grooming, socialization, wellness, and even proper clean up! 💩 While you are gone to work for the day or taking a much needed vacation (or stay-cation, lets be real!), let me hang out with your furry babes! I live in a quiet HOA neighborhood in Wellington CO right off I25, about 15 mins north of Fort Collins and about 30 mins south of Cheyenne. I am grateful to *work from home* and have 2 fun dogs and 2 chill cats that make great company. If your pets are under my care, they will be the only pets under my care at that time (other than my own of course) - which means lots of 1-on-1 time and no need to worry about others you don't know! 🙌🏼 Your pets will be in a calm, relaxed environment as we allow pets on all furniture, frequent potty breaks, lots of snuggling, and plenty of fun times in our fenced in back yard! Your pup will be on a dream vacation while you're away - be it one day, one week, or even an extended stay! And if you wish, I will be more than happy to flood your phone with pupdates and pictures each day! Please reach out - for knowledgeable, gentle, and passionate pet care. Katie is the bees knees! For as long as I've known her, she's been an animal lover and someone you could ask advice from about my own pets. There's only a few people I would ever trust to care for my dog and two cats, Katie is on that list. She is trustworthy, reliable, loves them like they are her own, and her pups are incredible friendly/playful with others.
Katie is SO knowledgeable when it comes to ALL animals, but especially cars & dogs. I wouldn’t trust anyone else when it comes to my two pups. I know Katie will treat them as her own & is so responsible when it comes to feeding/walking/playing/health. Ps- she worked on an alpaca ranch for almost 2 years, which only expanded her knowledge and love for animals. (and it’s awesome).?
Katie is an awesome person. She is very dependable and will take excellent care of your pets. I highly recommend her, She is one of the best!
For a lot of people, your dog is your child! Finding someone you trust can be hard. However, Kaitlyn is an easy choice when you're in need of a sitter. She is so good with animals, not just dogs. You can feel assured that your precious pup is getting the absolute best care with Kaitlyn. She has a heart of gold and will always put a dog before herself! ALL BREEDS WELCOME HERE ♥︎ COME AS YOU ARE. -- I would love to know as much detail about your pet as possible. I can talk about dogs and cats for hours so I have no problem listening to every fun fact and quirky behavior! Most importantly, I will need to know about your pets feeding instructions (please bring their normal food/treats!), medications, any known allergies, veterinary contact info, and any weird mannerisms. I also have a short and sweet "get to know you" form for every new client to gain a better base of understanding of each pet in my care. I keep these forms on file so I can always go back and reference for future stays as well! I pride myself on the love and fun I provide, but I am also very respectful of all pet parent wishes and instructions and want to be sure you feel 100% comfortable leaving your babies with me! Please feel free to reach out regarding any questions or concerns. I would be happy to address anything! -Katie *Please know that I do have 2 dogs and 2 cats in my home, whom are my own beloved family members. My partner and I have gone through great training with our furry family to ensure they exhibit happy, fun, and healthy behavior 99% of the time. If your dog or cat does not generally do well with other pets, I would still love to speak with you to figure out the best care for your baby. I do not accept males which are not neutered, females that are not spayed, or severely aggressively behaved dogs or cats. ♥︎
A typical day
We live in a very pet friendly neighborhood in Wellington, The Knolls HOA community. ? There is a sweet little walking trail through the neighborhood winding through near Rice Elementary and Tabby Road Vet Clinic. About 5 mins down the road is Wellington Community Park which includes many trails + a dog park with a swimming pond (how fun)! ? If your pup loves a certain park or trail, let me know! I love to explore new areas too! If your pet likes to stay home and cozy, we can do that too. We have two couches and a recliner for all the couch potatoes out there. Along with a lovely queen size mattress for extended naps! ? I always leave the TV on for our pups too! Last but not least, our fenced in back yard is PERFECT for those who want to run off a bit of energy and we have enough balls, ropes, and frisbees to last a lifetime! ? Feel free to bring your pets favorite bed or toy, and let me know their favorite activities! I’m super excited to meet you and your pet and have all da funs!
