Hi, my name is Kaitlin and I live Summerville! I loved my Rover sitter so much that I decided to become one! I have 6 years of Rover sitter experience and have always been my friends and family’s go to pet sitter. I grew up with large and small dogs as well as cats and I’m comfortable providing a wide range of care including check in’s, walks, and house sitting. In addition, I have experience with medication administration and tailor my care to the specifics needs of the animal, rather they’re a few months old or elderly. Kaitlin did an amazing job checking on my cat while I was away. She was great at following directions and was able to use my apartment's security app to get in the building without any issues. She was punctual and had excellent communication, provided detailed notes and pictures. I can tell she really cares about animals and it is definitely worth the peace of mind knowing she's looking after mine when I'm away!

I do not sit dogs at my personal home, but during dog walking I ensure I have an adequate hold on their leash and keep them calm while walking near other animals or strangers. I’m mindful of securing doors as I come in and out of homes to ensure that pets don’t get out.

I’ve watched many animals with a variety of behavioral needs including anxious or nervous animals and work diligently to minimize any triggers for them where possible while comforting them. I would love to know if your pet needs special behavioral attention.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks that are engaging for them with a variety of smells and sights, but familiar to them so they remain comfortable. I make sure to prioritize play time and cuddle time for both dogs and cats during drop in visits depending on their preferences beyond just standard feeding and potty expectations.
