Work from home with fenced in yard

Pet care experience

Hello! I am so happy you are here :) My name is Kait and my best pal's name is Bull. We have been on Rover for six years now and we love getting to know everyone's pups. Bully will be turning seven in June and he has made some of his best friends through Rover! Bull loves having playmates to run around with him in the backyard, join us on our daily walks, or just relax inside if your pup prefers to chill on the couch - Bull will follow suit! Our typical routine is waking up around 6:30 - the dogs will eat breakfast and we will all go outside for potty breaks. We get a morning walk in before I start my work day. I work from home, so if your pup likes to sleep in and have a later breakfast, that is no problem! I am always flexible with their schedules and want to make sure to stick to the routine they are used to at home. Since Bull is such a laid back dog, I have always been able to host multiple dogs from different families at one time. If you are uncomfortable with having other dogs here while your pup is staying with us, please let me know and I will make sure to turn off my bookings to other guests for your stay. Usually, I have up to 4 dogs at once, but it has ranged from 1 extra friend to 6 extra friends during one stay. I have watched all different kinds of breeds, small dogs to dogs over 100 pounds. I am able to administer medication if necessary (orally or injections) and adhere to a special diet if your dog is on one. If you choose me as your sitter, I can assure you that your dog will be well taken care of (some might even say spoiled...), I'll send photos throughout the stay, and you can rest easy knowing they're in a loving home that welcomes the extra guests! I have a large privacy fenced in backyard and I always am sure to keep an eye on the dogs while they are playing together. Please let me know if you have any questions and I can't wait to meet your pups!

Kaitlin was fantastic with our dog and kept us totally up to date with pictured and texts while we were gone. We’re excited to have her help again in the future!

Kaitlin is a fantastic sitter! Responsive, sends me plenty of pictures, trustworthy, and is an animal lover herself so she treats my dog like one of her own. We will definitely be using Kaitlin in the future, Lucy loved playing there all weekend with her other dogs!

Information Kaitlin M. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know about any medications or behaviors specific to your pup! I have taken care of dogs with all different personalities so I can adjust easily with instruction on what works best for your pup.

A typical day

Dependent on your dogs energy level - dogs typically get a morning walk after breakfast and a midday walk. In the spring and summertime when it stays lighter out later, we also enjoy an evening walk. When the weather doesn't want to cooperate, I still want to make sure the dogs are getting exercise and mental stimulation, a tired dog is a good dog! So I like to make sure they are getting exercise in so they can sleep well at night, if it is raining or too cold out, I often use a laser pointer for the dogs to chase back and forth which they usually love! I also like to freeze dog treats in peanut butter inside their kongs - having the dogs spend time trying to locate the treats stimulates their brain and rewards them during the process!
