Pet care experience
I love animals. In my lifetime I’ve owned two dogs, birds, fish, rats, lizards, and tortoises. I currently have two cats, a 60-gallon tropical fish tank, and a 100+ year old California Desert tortoise that is in hibernation. In order to save up for a puppy, I’d love to walk your dog(s) for you! I can also do drop-in visits to check in on your cats or make sure your fishy friends are cared for. I was an intern at a vet clinic in Independence as a high school senior and learned to give shots and administer medication. If necessary, we can discuss those things in person after we have met. I am happy to drive them to vet appointments, give them baths at home, and take them on walks or hikes around Corvallis. I would also be very happy to take over any training that you may be working on so that their routine stays consistent while you’re away.

I am open to all breeds, but I do ask that we are open with each other about our personalities. I am comfortable with dogs that are snippy or uncomfortable around strangers, and I am fairly good at giving them space until they warm up to me. I absolutely LOVE big dog breeds, and am more than happy to give your "bully breed" the attention he/she deserves. If your fur baby has medical needs, I will require a full run-down of any medications/special needs BEFORE any over-nights. I do have a young daughter that would be coming with me as long as your pet is comfortable. If they are not good around little ones, please let me know and I will make sure to find other arrangements for her ahead of time.
A typical day
I'd love to take your buddies around the block, to their favorite dog park, or just play with them in their own back yard! I am very good at fetch, and I'm no stranger to being on or off leash. Frisbee, hiking, and swimming during the summer are also fun activities that I like to do if your fur friend has too much pent-up energy!
