Hi, I’m Kaitlin—I grew up with cats and a dog as a kid. As an adult, I’ve been a rescue-/senior-cat mom for over 8 years, and I’ve been a paraplegic dog-mom for over 6 years! I Rover’ed regularly in 2017-18 before my career as an attorney took off—now that I’ve left the legal profession, I’m hoping to get back into caregiving for beloved fur babies like yours. I can’t wait to meet you & to be your pet’s new buddy!! My farm boy of a father taught me how to respect and train dogs at a young age. My teacher-mother showed me how to love and care for dogs by getting to know their individual personalities. Coming from a family of animal lovers has made me the responsible Rover friend you and your furbaby are looking for :) Given my own pets’ unique needs, I’m experienced in administering medication to cats & dogs alike, and I’m unbothered by the inevitable pet messes that come with age, disability, or surgery recovery. Since my dog’s ANNPE (spinal cord injury), I’ve learned how to manually express her bladder and keep her clean & healthy on a daily basis. Given the high level of care she needs, she may accompany me from time-to-time, but only with your permission and after an appropriate Meet-and-Greet so that all humans & animals alike are comfortable with each other. That said, my dog can be left home alone for 4-5 hours, so she’d only tag along with me if absolutely necessary. Otherwise, I'm always connected, so I'm a quick communicator, and I'll aim to provide you with a response ASAP. Of course, I'm always available whenever I'm with your pet, and I'm not afraid to ask questions. My routine is your routine—I'll do whatever you ask of me because you know what's best for your furbaby! Thanks for considering me!!
