Hi, I’m Kaitlin but most call me Katie! I am a 21 year old college student at the University of Hartford. I attend classes two days a week. This means tuesdays and thursdays I’m only available before 8 am and after 6 pm. Other days I have flexible availability for dog care visits. I also work in a restaurant so weekend nights could be hard because those are peak restaurant hours. I have experience with dogs aging from 8 weeks to 16 years. I have experience with many dogs including my own now. I rescued a dog last year! Dakota is my big baby. I love dogs of all ages and sizes. I have no issue caring for any breed. I have a lot of energy so I work well with high energy dogs. Your dog may be burnt out before I am. I look forward to meeting your dog(s)!

Kaitlin has a true love for animals. Referred to endearingly as "The Dog Whisperer", Katie has the ability to redirect typical dog energy to more constructive play and behavior. She has successfully trained her own dog, as well as helped my rescue dog come out of her shell and grow with her people skills and behavior (a true miracle worker!). In addition to being great with dogs, Katie is also a very responsible person, balancing a job, making the Dean's List, and helping with her family (including several pets). Kaitlin would be outstanding and trustworthy watching over your pet(s)! My dog also loves her, which is think makes an even better testimonial.
Kaitlin is a great dog sitter. I had her watch my 14 year old dachshund who for his age has a good amount of energy. He requires a lot of patience which she provided. She took him on walks and came over to make sure he had enough attention when I was gone for the long weekend. She has a lot of love for dogs and cares for them to the best of her ability.

Activities I provide would vary from dog to dog. Senior dogs may just want walks and company. Younger and high energy dogs would enjoy longer walks, fetch, and dog parks or parks within walking distance. I am comfortable with any activity with owners discretion of course.
