Hi there! I’m Kaitlin and I would be happy to care for your pet. I adore dogs and I have over 15 years experience caring for animals of all kinds. Neighbors, co-workers, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I’m a dog mom to Gus, a 1-year-old Charcoal Labrador. Gus was the easiest dog to train and loves enrichment toys, scent-work, going to “school” and puppy socials. He loves going on long car rides and walks on the river. He may be 112lbs but he still lays in my lap and gives hugs. Gus brings so much joy to anyone he meets and everyone in our neighborhood knows his name! Gus is a part of our family, and I completely understand how much your fur-baby means to you! I know how hard it is to be away from our pets, and how important it is to find the right pet sitter. I am responsible, caring, loving and attentive. I will care for your pet as I care for my own and provide detailed updates along the way. I come from a family of animal lovers. For as long as I can remember, my home has always been filled with beloved pets including dogs of all sizes, cats, bunnies, birds, fish and even ducklings. I have so many childhood memories of my grandfather rescuing injured animals and coming home with kittens, dogs and a baby crow! One time, my mom climbed out onto our roof to rescue a baby bird from the beating sun and rushed it to a rehabilitation sanctuary. My step-father, a DPW worker, once crawled down a sewer to save a kitten. He brought the kitten home and we named him Beau. My aunt hatched ducklings in our bathtub, taught me how to care for baby bunnies and showed me how to bottle feed an abandoned fawn. I have countless stories about my family and our long line of pets. My love and understanding of animals comes from my wonderful and compassionate family.
