My name is Katie and I've been pet sitting for 18+ years and I love dogs, cats, and other pets (bunnies, snakes, birds, fish, etc.). My husband, Jason, and I currently live in a 4 bedroom split-level home with a fully fenced in yard (privacy fence). He is a great partner and we work very well together to care for your pets as a team! We have lived in Champaign, IL for the past 8 years and purchased our home in 2018, so we plan on sticking around for a while! My husband and I live in a quaint and quiet neighborhood with wooded walking paths and a lake that we enjoy exploring with our three rescue dogs (13 year old Papillons and 2 year old Spaniel). We have two cats that live in our household - a fluffy gentle cat named Nim and a sleepy black cat named TeeTee, both adopted from Catsnap. ............................................................................ Our home is clean and well-maintained and the overall vibe in our home is very relaxed, since we know that having your pet in a new environment can be a little stressful! I am available for drop-ins, boarding, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. We book up very quickly, so book early to reserve your spot! ............................................................................ I also have my own vehicle for transportation. I will play fetch, give belly rubs, and am EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE. Having pets of my own, I know how important that is. I am also happy to send a daily email, text, or update with a photo of your pets. I have experience giving subcutaneous injections and medications and will pick up poop and scoop litter! I have a Master's degree in Environmental Science and work in town. I have fostered in the past for both cats and dogs and am familiar with different pet personalities, energy levels, and quirks. I grew up with a menagerie of cats, dogs (a great dane, labradors, golden retrievers, and mixed breeds), and small caged animals - from reptiles, to birds, to the small and fuzzies. My husband, Jason, sometimes accompanies my on meet-n-greets and on visits, and helps whenever he can! He grew up with dogs too, specifically springer spaniels and a poodle.
