Pet care experience
Animals have been a big part of my life ever since I was a kid. I have owned and helped care for various breeds of dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and reptiles. I currently have 4 cats, a painted turtle, and a bearded dragon. I also have experience with senior animals who need special care, so if medication needs to be administered, I am able to help out with that!

Kaitlin did a nice job of watching our cats and giving medications to our oldest cat. She took the time to meet them and let them get used to her. She was responsive to messages and gave us good updates.

I always make sure my own pets have food, water, clean litter boxes, and toys to play with. When taking care of others' pets I like to spend a little time with them, even if that means just sitting in the same room with them for a little while so that they have some company. Whatever makes them feel most comfortable and cared for! I make it a priority to pay attention to the animal's body language & signals to make sure I'm not making them uncomfortable in any way. Keeping them happy and stress-free is my goal.

If your pet has any special needs or any activities or toys that they particularly enjoy, please let me know! I am happy to accommodate in any way that I can. I would also like to get an idea of their general demeanor and how much interaction they tend to like. If they are a bit shy and need more time to get to know me, that is perfectly fine. I will never push affection or playtime on an animal if that's not something they're interested in.
A typical day
Depending on the pet's activity level, I am open on going on short or long walks, taking them to a park, playing fetch in the backyard, or even just hanging out while they chew on a bone or curl up for a nap.

I have a full time job that allows me to work remotely and I can be flexible with my work hours throughout the day. That makes it easy for me to make time during my day to help people out when needed.
